Jack Miller: Yamaha's V4 MotoGP Bike is a 'Miraculous' Achievement
Yamaha's development of the V4-powered M1 motorcycle is a testament to their engineering prowess, according to Pramac MotoGP rider Jack Miller. Miller praised Yamaha's ability to create a revolutionary bike in a short time frame, highlighting the challenges of racing with a new engine.
The V4 bike made its debut at the San Marino Grand Prix, finishing 14th and scoring valuable points. Yamaha's commitment to the V4 technology is evident, with plans to use it in the 2026 season.
During the Pramac livery launch in Siena, Miller expressed his admiration for Yamaha's efforts, stating, 'It's an unreal undertaking from Yamaha, what they did last year to develop this motorcycle alongside the current M1 at that time.'
Despite his praise, Miller also mentioned his role as a mentor to Toprak Razgatlioglu, a three-time World Superbike champion joining Pramac this season. Miller believes Razgatlioglu has the necessary skills and support from his manager, Kenan Sofuoglu, to succeed in MotoGP without his guidance.
'He doesn’t need a mentor, I don’t think,' Miller said. 'He’s got plenty of that in Kenan [Sofuoglu, Razgatlioglu’s manager].'
Miller and Razgatlioglu are excited to work together, and Miller anticipates a fun and family-oriented environment at Pramac, which aligns with the team's culture.
